Sorry for the lapse in posts. We have been super busy. I have just finished up one of the last two semesters of my master's degree. I took a 6 hour essay SLLA (School Leaders Licensure Assessment) and found out that I passed! Will has cut two teeth, learned to crawl and started pulling up. He has also had his First Halloween and Thanksgiving, but sadly I forgot to take pictures of Thanksgiving with the fam. Here are a few pictures....more to come.
Look very closely....first two teeth!!!

Reed Shivers Elliott
They say good things come to those who wait. Here is the proof! Reed weighed 10 pounds 10 ounces and was 21 1/4" long. He was a big boy and kinda stubborn. He made his mom and dad wait a long while, but he is here and healthy as can be. Reed came home today!

The happiest baby
So...in case you haven't heard---WE WON!!
We were COMPLETELY shocked. Cullen and I both were expecting either of the other two finalist to win. If you don't know what I am talking about I will explain. Cullen and I filled out the Young Farmer and Rancher Achievement Award application, which is about 13 pages long. This is a Farm Bureau committee that we got involved in about two and a half years ago. We have met GREAT friends and really use the meetings as a chance to get away from O.G. Three finalist are chosen every year and we were one of the finalist for 2009. To find out the winner we traveled to the Big Easy, Will in tow. (Yes, I packed the entire house!) At the Awards program, the announcer called all of the finalist on stage to announce the winner. It felt like we were on stage for an eternity and finally they called our names. I was told I said "Oh My Goodness!" at least ten times. The pics really don't do our shock justice.

Sunny Saturday with Grandma Brasher and Maw Maw
Yesterday afternoon Will and I layed on a blanket in the front yard, so of course we attracted visitors! These are the pics from the day.
Will's New Pony!
Well...actually it belongs to George Cullen (Stalling) first and in a couple of years Will and Reed (Rebecca's little one) get to take over. I was so nervous during this photo session! Shetland (spelling?) Ponies are notorious for biting and being mean. Rebecca said that when she was little she had one and it threw her off 16 times in one day!!! Mr. Mike kept saying "I wouldn't do anything to hurt you. Get back on!"
