Family (this post is for Lee)

Here are some pics of Will with some of his family....We have yet to get a pic with Uncle Jim and Aunt Rebecca and Uncle Ryan. Will isn't always in the mood for pics =)

Will and his Uncle Lee. Uncle Lee was the first besides Will's mom to change a dirty diaper! Uncle Lee was also the one who guessed Will's birth weight correctly.

Will and his Aunt Dorothy. Aunt Dot babysat Will for a couple hours Tuesday...Will loved it!

Will and his Pop. Pop moved, so his face was blurry.... Will looks so long in this one! Pop went to the doctor with us the day this picture was taken, and I think he loved every minute of it.

Will and his Maw Maw Kovac. Will gets to see his Maw Maw every day, when she comes by to hold him. I think it has become an addiction for the both of them!

Will and his Papa Mike...this is one of his favorite spots to sleep. =) Papa Mike babysat for an hour while I went to the grocery store and when I came back this was how they were sitting and both of them were asleep!!

Will and his SuSu at the hospital. SuSu is Will's resident photographer. She takes probably an average of 50 pictures everytime she sees him....one day we went somewhere together and she was getting ready to leave when she realized she didn't take a single picture. I think he will live. =)

Going to church!

Last Sunday was Will's first time at church, and of course he was the star of the show. He slept through the whole thing, so I guess Bro Kenny didn't scream too loud. =) Here are a few pics:

Kids say....

the darndest things. As you know I am still on maternity leave and have a substitute teacher teaching my class. The other day I got a text message from her. This is what it said: "Obviously you need to come back to school. J--- assures me that you NEVER taught him 6+4!!! Shame Shame!" I thought this was hilarious and you probably would think it was funnier if you knew the kid, but I thought I would share.

By the way, I did teach them 6+4. Can't have y'all thinking I was slacking on the job!

2 Weeks and Counting

It is unbelievable that Will is already 2 weeks old. He is doing great and is getting spoiled rotten. I don't know whose fault that is! =) Will already has his own personality and changes every day. He is a very content little man and if he is comfortable and you think you want to pick him up or change his position, he furrows his brow to let you know that he wants to be left alone. He is sleeping well and eats every 4 hours. That in itself is a blessing! I get to sleep 3 hours in between feedings instead of an hour and 30 minutes! Besides eating and sleeping there is not much to report. I know all y'all really want is to see some pictures so here they are:

See what I mean about the furrowing of his brow?! Hilarious!

First day home!!!

Will's Arrival

Will made his arrival on March 25th at 10:11 p.m. and quickly gave his mom and dad their first scary parent moment. I spiked a fever during delivery, so in turn Will had a fever when he was born. The pediatrician sent Will to the NICU and ordered tons of tests and antibiotics (14 doses, 2 per day). So, Cullen and I "camped out" in the hospital for 7 days and we all finally got to come home yesterday.

Thank you all for your prayers, thoughts, visits and gifts. We feel very blessed to have such dedicated family and friends.
Here are some pictures from our little adventure:
Cullen was getting a little bit worried because Will wasn't in any hurry to arrive.
I think I had had the epidural at this point. It was amazing.
Dr. Wilson, getting ready to deliver Will.
Not a happy camper.
